New Year's Resolutions

I have been reading blogs about New Year resolutions.... and choosing one word to focus on for the entire year. Some of the word chosen were peace, calm, story, simplify, discipline, and many others. I have been contemplating what word I want to focus on and I thought "change" but that sounded too much like Obama. I think I have decided on "refine" which is a part of change but different. I think it isn't a complete turn around but working harder on the direction chosen. I would like to refine my physical self and my relationship with the Lord. I might to add discipline too!

Some of the things I create

I have been so impressed by the creativity seen in the One World One Heart blogs that I have been visiting. I love to create but rarely sell anything I make- usually I create for family or friends. But I thought I should showcase some of the recent items that I have made. I knit felted hand bags and totes, jewelry, bead and button creations, and rag quilts.

Under Construction

I have been changing my blog-bit by bit. Its like anything else computer related...takes a lot more time than you think it will. I changed the "baglady" name to a new name"Nancy's Perspective". And I added some new things like a background and a header. Its fun if you can spend the time on it.

blog hopping

I have been visiting lots of blogs these past few days that are part of the One World One Heart project. I am excited to see all the creative things that people are doing and making (and giving away). But I see that I need to spend some more time with my blog. It started as part of my educational side of my life but I spend all of my free time creating- I would like to either start a new one for the creating side, or "beef up" this one. I am inspired!
